Hello!

My name is Nasim, and I'm Alive Montessori's piano and music theory teacher. Music has been part of my life since I was 10 years old, and for the past 16+ years, I've had the joy of sharing that passion with children, teenagers, and adults.

I'm RCM certified, which means I can guide our students confidently through the Royal Conservatory of Music program and prepare them for exams, if they choose. I love helping students — and their parents — enjoy that process, turning exam day into something positive and memorable rather than stressful.

My teaching style is play-based, creative, and centered on each individual student. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their needs, abilities, and interests rather than using a one-size-fits-all method.

I've also trained in children's psychology, art therapy, and holistic development, which helps me build a supportive, encouraging space for every lesson. I enjoy working with parents too, sharing simple strategies to help their children stay motivated and keep music enjoyable at home.

Whether your child is picking up piano for the first time or already has some experience, I'm here to help them build strong musical foundations, grow their technique, and most of all, fall in love with music.
